West End Flower Show

West End, Esher

The Show takes place on West End Common in the beautiful village of West End Esher, known as "the Jewel of Elmbridge". The village has a traditional village green with a duckpond and other small lakes which are classed as S.S.I's (sites of special scientific interest). It has a pub (Prince of Wales) a Farm Shop (Garsons),a Victorian Village Hall and Church and a Social Club.

Directions to West End

To find West End Common, take either:

• The A307 Esher to Cobham Road and from Esher turn right into Hawkshill Way which is the first road on the right hand side with "Keep Left" bollards on it. At the T junction at the bottom of Hawkshill Way turn left and the Village Green is straight ahead. Parking is at Garsons. To reach there bear right into Winterdown Road 50 metres after the T junction at the bottom of Hawkshill Way and Garsons is on the right after about 500 metres.
• Or: On the A244 Esher to Walton-On-Thames road from Esher, turn left into West End Lane at the first roundabout at the bottom of the hill on the edge of Esher. Go along West End Lane until you pass the Prince of Wales pub on the right. The village green is the striaght ahead. Parking is at Garsons. To reach there bear right into Winterdown Road 50 metres after the T junction at the bottom of Hawkshill Way and Garsons is on the right after about 500 metres.

Parking is always difficult on Show Day. Both West End Lane and Winterdown Road become blocked if cars are parked solidly along the roadside so please avoid doing this. Winterdown Road to Garsons becomes blocked if cars are parked on both sides so please again avoid parking there
