General Rules

Note specified sizes. Classes 83-85 in plain glass jar with new twist top only or waxed disc and cellophane. Classes 88-90 must be over three months old and in plain glass jar with a solid vinegar proof top - eg new plastic lined twist top. All preserves must be labelled with main fruit/vegetables used and full date (day, month, year). Jars or tops bearing commercial names are not acceptable.
