We would like to thank all the villagers and others who subscribed in 2010. The Association is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society, the National Chrysanthemum Society, the National Dahlia Society and the National Vegetable Society. Subscribers may use the concessions offered by these.
A copy of the Rules of the Association is available on request from the Hon Secretary and the Accounts from the Hon Treasurer.
Will be held in the West End Village Hall on Tuesday 14th November 2011 at 8.00pm, where the accounts are presented.
Surplus funds are donated to local organisations, to charities or to projects benefitting the village of West End. From 2010 profits, we made a main donation to CHEER (Concern and Help for East Elmbridge Elderley), Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, Village News, St Johns Ambulance, Sue Rider Hersham and Oxfam.
The committee appreciate the involvement and help given by local West End organisations including Winterdown WI for running the teas and providing coffee and biscuits for the judges and West End Village Hall for use of the hall and equipment during the weekend of the show.
